The Seed That
Was Planted
The story of Aliwangi goes back to when my late father started a business after his retirement from public service in the early seventies. The business was named Aliwangi Enterprises.
In our curiosity as children, we asked him what the name meant — because it didn't sound 'funky' as we would say back then. Aliwangi, he explained, means "good character" in my language, Bassa-Nge NUPE.
"Character was his capital — a seed planted in our lives quite early. It signposts my underlying rationale for the major and daily decisions I make in life."
Over the years I have not only found myself in positions where 'good character' defined the fundamental requirement, but also actively asking for God's grace to manifest the fruit of the Spirit.
We seek to create a platform where ideas are shared to help believers navigate life and business in the marketplace, based on biblical truths and injunctions.
Our Purpose
We equip believers and marketplace leaders with tools that strengthen character, sharpen wisdom, and align purpose with Kingdom principles. Every book we publish, every topic we discuss, every post we share carries this intention at its core.
We believe the Church and the marketplace are not at odds — they are both arenas where light must shine, where the fruit of the Spirit must be evidenced, and where God receives all the glory.
